Why not just use Search Console?
It's free and accurate — and we build on it. Here's exactly what PageRankStatus adds on top, and what we promise never to fabricate.
Search Console is great. So why pay for anything?
Google Search Console is free, accurate, and the source we build on — you should absolutely use it. But it’s a reporting tool: it hands you raw data for one site at a time and leaves the “so what do I do now?” to you. PageRankStatus turns that data into a workflow.
| Google Search Console | PageRankStatus | |
|---|---|---|
| Data source | First-party Google data — accurate | The same first-party Search Console data — we read it, never replace it |
| Multiple sites | One property at a time, manual switching | Every site you own in one unified dashboard |
| Trends | Raw numbers in tables | Clicks and average-position sparklines over time |
| Sitemap insight | Submitted / status only | Canonicalized status plus a “Why?” for each excluded URL |
| Keywords | No dedicated tracking | Keyword sets you can track and expand automatically |
| Content | None | Content planner, AI article writer, and page SEO audit |
| Alerts | Minimal | Digest emails when your numbers move |
| Next step | You read the data, then work out what to do | Data → recommendation → action, all in one console |
In one line
Search Console gives you the raw data. We turn it into what to do next — across every site, alongside your keywords and content.
What we will never do
We never fabricate a PageRank or “authority” number. Google stopped updating public PageRank in 2016 and there is no API for it. Where we show estimates instead of first-party data, we label them as estimates — so every decision you make rests on something real.
